Computer restarts rarely show exception messages which indicate the root cause of the problem. Consequently, troubleshooting why a PC keeps restarting requires some additional analysis work to identify the root issue.
Your first initial concern should be that the PC is overheating. This can be identified by checking the CPU temperatures in the BIOS menu. If the levels get too high then the BIOS itself will shut down the system to stop the CPU burning out. Way to rectify this issue is to keep your PC away from heat source such as radiator, check the fan blades are operating freely, it to the inside of the system of any dust and checking your heat sink is in good condition.
If the system is able to start up then you can at least check the event viewer log (start/run/type in eventvwr). This will track any messages that did make the screen when your PC keeps restarting. Look up each of these codes/messages and interests to identify what applications they relate to and what types of solutions all other users of these programs have identified.
Aside from software issues, you also need to consider the possibility of there being hardware problems. Use a bad sector repair free tool (e.g. the disk checking utility provided with every Windows operating system) to scan your hard drive platters for signs of physical hardware damage as well as software faults. In addition, the other hardware components in your system can be checked using the device manager. This would indicate a variety of different problems (e.g. driver issues, corruption, virus damage, conflicts between peripherals, etc.) has just different ways of fixing each type of problem.
Finally, you also have to consider the possibility of there being registry key damage. The worst case scenario is that your PC keeps restarting as it is booting up in which case you should try using the last known good configuration to revert back the registry file. If your system starts successfully then you can at least use System Restore or a registry cleaner.
