I have an MSI K9A2 Platinum. My Board also has a molex 4 pin power on it. I had no idea what it was for either. I still plugged it in though. If you have any additional information on that connector, It would be beneficial. I hear it's not needed, unless you are running crossfire, But i have also heard otherwise.
