Perfect for gaming. Can handle new games on the highest graphics settings. Surround sound is gorgeous. Loads very fast. The processors allow easy multitasking. The DVD burner works great and fast. Nice screen resolution, but not the best.

The wireless card will turn off and refuse to turn back on if you put the laptop to sleep or hibernate mode. Driver updates do not fix this. Only 2 USB ports. MSI does not provide you with system recovery disks, or a hard copy of Vista. The two partitions are annoying and useless. The C: is dedicated to the Operating System, and is given very little space. Everything should be installed to the D:, but as most programs like to install to the C: by default, this is very frustrating. There are two keys that have the "|" and "\" characters. One of them could have been removed to make a bigger right shift key. I hate the small arrow keys under the shift. I often accidentally press Shift+Up while I'm typing, which highlights a line of text and deletes it when I keep typing. Ctrl-Z has become my best friend.

The lid closes with magnets in the corners??? I thought you were never supposed to bring magnets near electronics... Well, it hasn't done anything yet... I just can't type and wear my favorite bracelet at the same time...

Anyway, this IS good computer. I needed the graphics capabilities for the gaming classes I'm taking in college, and it does that well. I listed many cons, but I personally have gotten used to or around them. They are to be considered though.
