I am very satisfied with this purchase. The notebook is very fast and Asus supplies a free 32 bit Win7 upgrade that they will mail out to registered owners who ask for it on their website. The specs are outstanding in this price range. I bought this for school and gaming and it is very capable in both departments. This unit has bluetooth which I might use for a mouse and an esata port which I am sure will come in handy for portable storage. (more...)

Cheap ASUS Eee PC 900HA For Sale
The laptop is loaded with features useful to someone on the go. The small size and light weight means you can toss this machine in a book bag and head off to the library or the coffee shop without feeling as though you're lugging a heavy load around. The battery life is more than acceptable for these kinds of trips. The laptop does not seem to get very hot under normal tasks like word processing or looking around the Internet. Immediately after receiving the unit and charging the battery, I installed eeebuntu on the machine via USB thumb-drive. I now have a wonderful little machine that I can take anywhere to do what I need. I'm debating whether or not to pick up one of the clear protective cases that snaps on the machine to protect it from scratches.
