Canon Powershot A530 takes video at 640 x 480 with 20 FPS and when 320 x 240 it is 30 fps .
t runs on AA batteries which are not expensive rechargable battery that if its not charged you are screwed, lets you change shutter speed and f/stop manually like a SLR camera. It also has a nice screen on the back with an excellent battery life. But indoor pictures are grainy, raising ISO makes more GRAIN. you can use the flash but flash always RUINS my pictures. So I dont know the grain is the biggest problem. T dont think the amount of grain is normal for my camera. I have talked to other people with the same camera and they just tell me to change my settings which doesn't help at all. So I might have gotten a faulty camera to begin with.
